We're going spelunking at Cumberland Caverns on April 19!!! This will be an overnight trip inside a cave. We will meet at Orange at 2pm on Saturday April 19. We will leave no later than 2:30. We will return to the church Sunday, April 20 around 12:30.
While we are inside the cave we will explore the spelunking route which begins at the “Devil’s Quarry” and encounters such infamous places as the “Lemon Squeezer” and “Bubble Gum Alley.” You will encounter several tight squeezes and lots of crawling. Additionally, we will take a guided sightseeing tour of the fully lighted portions of Cumberland Caverns.
Cost for youth and chaperones: $20.00
What you will need to bring:
On Sunday morning after we eat breakfast, pack up our things, and head out of the cave, we will have a short worship service outside. Then, we'll head for home.
Cumberland Caverns Overnight/Adventure Tour
We will have normal youth on Sunday, April 20.
Permission Form: On the download page (or just click here) there is a brochure from Cumberland Caverns that has a short liability release on the middle of the second page that you must have when you come to the caverns.
