Summer Wrap Up(2009-07-29)
We have had such a great summer! We spent a weekend at Stone Mountain in June for AtlantaFest. We worshipped with several different bands, camped, and did all the exciting things Stone Mountain has to offer. We also learned how to make huge bubbles.
We spent a week at Holbrook Campground where we learned how to have Epic Faith. Around 70 teenagers participated in the youth program during campmeeting. We ended it all with a service put together by the youth on Thursday night. This included a powerful drama set to the Casting Crowns song "Set Me Free".
At the end of July, a few of our youth went to Camp Woodlands for a week. We look forward to their return on August 1. I'm sure they will have a wonderful week drawing closer to God.
